The Government has published final regulations and the Regulatory Impact Analysis Statement related to Canada’s anti-spam legislation. A copy of these documents can be found below. A copy of the regulations will be found in Part II of the Canada Gazette and on the Justice Canada website.
The Act will begin to take effect on when most of the Act comes into force. Once the law is in force, it will help to protect Canadians while ensuring that businesses can continue to compete in the global marketplace.
